Have used the bag a few times already and I am really pleased with all its features. Separate pocket slots keep my irons secure and separated and easy to locate and find! More than enough storage pockets for just about everything. The materials appear to to of high quality but only time will tell. My feeling is I will buy another one when the time comes.
I love the bag! so far it has lived up to the great design of the club separators! more storage than any other bag I've had, its a great buy!
I purchased the Founders Club Premium Cart Bag mainly for its club divider system, and after six or seven outings on a riding cart and with a pull cart I’m quite pleased with its performance. The irons do not rattle and twist around, hitting each other when you move, though the woods do strike each other occasionally if they’re not covered. Best of all, I know exactly where each club is. No searching among overlapping club heads.
A second reason for buying this bag is its competitive price. Big name brands are definitely overpriced.
The bag has plenty of storage space, certainly more than my previous bag. I consider the insulated fridge pocket a trendy gimmick, though I’m sure it’s something some people will look for. A note about it: The inner lining of the pocket above the cooler pocket hangs down into the fridge pocket. When you store items in the above pocket, such as sleeves of spare balls, cooler pocket height space is taken up, limiting the fridge pocket to a few shorter 12oz cans. I cannot easily get my 20+ oz water/juice container in the fridge pocket.
The bag itself is taller than most other bags in order for the divider system to work. A very minor consequence is that you have to lift your clubs higher to get them out of the bag. The bag length isn’t a problem transferring the bag into a trunk since it’s the length of the woods that determine the trunk space you need. Also the bag is reasonably light for moving the bag from trunk to cart.
The cart strap sleeves have worked well on some riding carts but not on others. In other words, nice idea, but not all carts are equal it appears. Note to walking cart golfers: The standard straps on my old pull cart were too short (approximately 32”) to accommodate the circumference of the bag. I just purchased longer straps on Amazon.
Overall, I’m quite pleased with this bag and recommend it to others.
I bought this bag for the separation of the irons where they don’t bang into each other and this bag has met my expectations. My perfect bag would also have 2 external tubes. One for the driver and one for the putter, easy access for clubs most used. Also, I would like to find covers for the hybrid clubs that just cover the club head. Most are long to protect the shaft and don’t allow these clubs to fit all the way down causing the cover to bunch up and obscures the irons. Small problem, just annoying. Bag has plenty of storage. Love the lift handles.
